Seals for rotating shafts

Seals for rotating shafts

The STASSKOL DynamicSeal SDK60 shaft seal is a seal with one-piece chambers and radially movable sealing rings. It is used in the pressure range from vacuum to 3 barg.
With a minimum of maintenance, these shaft seals achieve very long service lives. The sealing ring materials used are suitable for dry and grease-free operation.

The shaft seals of the SDK60 series are seals with contact sealing rings. The 3-part sealing rings are manufactured in an adjustable design, i.e. with overlapped gas-tight joints. Depending on requirements and application, individual parts such as sealing ring chambers, intermediate chambers, grease chambers, barrier gas chambers, etc. can be assembled as required here according to the modular principle.

The STASSKOL DynamicSeal shaft seal of the SDK60 series is preferably intended for sealing shafts in blowers, agitators, dryers, mixers, fermenters, etc.. The application range extends from vacuum up to pressures of 3 bar(g), from slowly rotating shafts up to 45 m/s circumferential speed, at operating temperatures up to 500°C, as well as media such as simple air up to highly toxic and/or abrasive gases.
