The shaft seals in the SDW50 series are sliding shaft seals with split housings. The 3-part sealing rings are produced in adjustable design, meaning with overlapped, mortised, gas-tight joints.
Several PTFE compounds as well as special artificial carbon qualities are provide for the sealing rings. Deviating from the standard design, seal designs, housings and sealing ring materials can be individually adapted to a diverse range of operating conditions as special design.

Design

The housing of STASSKOL DynamicSeal SDW50 is split. The 3-part sealing rings are produced in adjustable design, meaning with overlapped, mortised, gas-tight joints. Applications

The STASSKOL DynamicSeal shaft seal from the SDW50 series is the preferred choice for sealing shafts in fans, agitators, dryers, mixers and fermenters etc. Its field of application ranges from vacuum up to pressures of 0,5bar permitted pressure difference per sealing ring, from slow-turning shafts up to 45m/s sliding speed, at operating temperatures of up to 500°C, and with media from pure air to high-toxic and/or abrasive gases.

Type overview

The saft seals DSW50 can be offered with connection for suction drain and buffer gas. The short design, that is contrary to the standard design is offered without connections. For more information please click on the download button.
